    The Pituitary Network Association (www.pituitary.org) is a non-profit organization for those suffering with pituitary/hormonal disorders. A qualified candidate must understand the non-profit world and possess relevant executive experience to inspire and lead.

     

    Job Description:

    Work with staff in securing funds, grant writing, fundraising activities, and other means of supporting the organization  Facilitate the dissemination of information worldwide by participating in conferences, public awareness projects. etc.

    The ideal candidate for the position will have the desire, experience, and the dedication to be fiscally responsible for the overall organization, ensuring its sustainability and growth for many years to come.  Knowledge of medical and/or mental health systems and the ability to communicate effectively in both is a must, along with the ability to relate and assist patients and family members. Advocacy and education to the general public, insurance representatives, legislative bodies, community and other organizations and more is required.

    Clinical Faculty in New Doctor of Behavioral Health Program

    Arizona State University, Phoenix campus invites applications for a clinical faculty position in an innovative new doctoral degree program in integrated behavioral care to begin as early as January, 2010.

     

    This is a new degree type, the Doctor of Behavioral Health, or D.B.H., developed in partnership with Dr. Nicholas A. Cummings and Arizona State University. The D.B.H. is designed to prepare the practitioner to function as a behavioral primary care provider in all kinds of healthcare settings as we enter the new era in which mental health will be an integral and integrated part of the nation's healthcare system. The individual will be responsible for teaching graduate courses from a curriculum based on evidence-based behavioral interventions in primary care/medical settings, provide academic advising and practicum supervision in a hybrid residential and distance learning program. Qualified applicants will have experience (at least 3 years) in an integrated care setting, a doctoral degree in clinical psychology from an APA-accredited program and be license eligible in Arizona.
